Hey friends! I'm Amanda

Oklahoma City Family, couples AND branding PHOTOGRAPHER

My photography journey began when I dusted off the camera my dad gave to me before he passed. I started by taking pictures of my first son at our home in small town Arkansas. Since then, I have found a profound joy in telling people's stories through pictures. and have had the privilege of moving my family and business to OKC. Capturing the beauty and rarity of each unique point of view in this world one of my life's greatest honors.

Organic and Breezy Style

I aim to organically and wistfully capture a moment in time. I spend our time together helping you feel relaxed and confident in front of my lens and my time after our shoot perfecting the details and further bringing the moment to life through the details. You will notice I focus on subtle, soft backgrounds in order to highlight the subject.

Committed to Love

Love is what makes this world go around. My commitment to myself, you as a potential client and the world around me is to share love and extend kindness in every way I know how. Please follow my social media pages to see any current philanthropic initiatives I am hosting.

About Falling Moon

Falling Moon Photography often feels like a gift I didn't know I was given. My dad gave me his Canon camera shortly before he passed away, after a 8 year long battle with cancer. I didn't know why he felt like I should have it. If I'm honest, it sat collecting dust for many years. Eventually, I started taking pictures of my son with it. Then I took pictures of friends, then I took model calls, now I have a new camera (his sits on a shelf in his honor) and a small business that I love deeply. The name Falling Moon is a nod to his favorite artist, the one and only Tom Petty. I have the greatest memories of my dad jamming out to Free Fallin' from the Full Moon Fever album. Rest in Peace, dad. I'll see you on the other side.
